Equipment
Washington Celebrations only uses state of the art PA systems with crystal clear sound at any volume. For your convenience, a wireless microphone will always be available for announcements made by you or your guests (Guests that you approve!). Dance floor lighting can also be accommodated.
Our Philosophy

Our DJs are dedicated to each client’s special event. They do more than just press play on a CD player. Each DJ will work with you to coordinate all the pertinent details of your event, while supporting you through the entire planning process. Our professionalism is second to none. We guarantee superior services, speedy responsiveness, and ultimate flexibility.
Music
Whether it’s a wedding reception or corporate party, our DJs will do a wonderful job of playing the appropriate music at the right time. Their repertoire of music is endless, and they have a vast musical knowledge. When asked for a Cha Cha, Foxtrot, or Waltz, you will not get an empty stare. Their experience as live musicians has taught them how to tailor playlists to match each event and client. They can also suggest music for your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and special dances to include such legends as Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, and Ray Charles, and Jazz greats like Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, and John Coltrane, and right up to the present with Norah Jones, John Mayer, and Jack Johnson.
When it’s time to dance, our DJs can provide the full range of party music from the most current dance hits to early classics, while reading your guests and their responsiveness. Even events that require an extensive knowledge base of ethnic music to include Latin, Traditional and Contemporary Jewish/Israeli, Persian, Souko, Asian Groove, and European Lounge – Washington Celebrations can provide you with an extensive array of musical styles and genres to soundtrack your event perfectly.
Finally, our DJs will coordinate with you to create an approved playlist before your event.
Emcee
Many brides and event planners decide to have their own emcee. In the case that you’d want our DJ to emcee, you would be making a fantastic decision! There are always last minute detail changes that need to be addressed during an event and it takes a true professional with years of experience to keep everything organized. We will always be on top of the agenda so you can focus on enjoying your event.
