Washington Celebrations - Violin and Guitar Duet

Chad and Emily perform in a variety of ensembles and styles, and can help you select the right music for your event. Their music is perfect for anyone who wants great music with a lighter touch. They specialize in wedding ceremonies, corporate events, holiday parties, and cocktail music.

Chad began playing the guitar at the age of thirteen. Chad studied music at Berklee College of Music, Virginia Commonwealth University, and the University of North Texas. He has been a guitarist in The United States Army Band "Pershing's Own" since 2004. Chad is also on the faculty at the Washington Conservatory of Music and the National Guitar Workshop.

Emily began playing violin at the age of ten. Emily studied music at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). She has been a violinist in the United States Army Band "Pershing's Own" since 2003. Emily also has appeared with Peter Mayer (lead guitarist with Jimmy Buffett) and the Key West Symphony Orchestra.
