BackBeat vocalists David and Deshaun know how to create the perfect party atmosphere for your event. Their incredible personalities and delightful voices will leave a lasting impression on all your guests, while making your special event more memorable than ever. The infectious beat of the rhythm section will surely keep your guests dancing. And those satiny horns will add the subtle touch of sophistication that you deserve.

BackBeat performs a dynamic range of popular music. From Soul, Country, R&B, Hip-Hop, Rock,

and Blues, all the way to Latin, Jazz, and Big Band standards, their musicial diversity guarantees

they can entertain all ages and backgrounds while providing the best type of music during dinner,

cake cutting, and dancing. Special requests are always welcomed.

Early Arrival and Set up

BackBeat arrives 2-3 hours before your event to ensure equipment is ready before your guests

arrive, making certain your guests are never disturbed. Empty instrument and equipment cases

will be out-of-sight. The stage will have a clean and professional appearance and the musicians

will be dressed appropriately.

Emcee for the Event

An energetic emcee will announce all of the evenings festivities, while working with you to

ensure the correct name pronunciations of all your VIPs. A wireless microphone will be available

at all times for any special annoucements made by your family, friends, or guests.

Continuous Music

The band provides live music while your guests arrive, while the bridal party is announced,

during dinner, and of course during the PARTY! When the band takes breaks, DJ-style music

is provided by iPod. Your reception will always have a soundtrack!

Professional Production

Included in the price of the band is professional sound and lighting reinforcement, subcontracted out to companies that specialize in those services. Washington Celebrations is a music expert. We leave the other stuff to other professionals.

Mike, we wanted to thank you and Washington Celebrations for providing us with complete peace of mind during our wedding planning days. Our final piece to coordinate was the most important, entertainment. While many bands had turned down my request for live rehearsals, BackBeat did not hesitate to accommodate my request (and even played my favorite song that I had casually mentioned months previously). The versatility of music and songs played during our reception was amazing and the transition between songs was seamless. We are looking forward to having BackBeat play again at any future events that we require entertainment.
